Looking back over the past year, finding small and simple ways to bring joy and meaning into our days became necessary to fill just some of the void from cancelled celebrations, travel plans and dreams still on hold. So I wanted to release this song about finding positivity, purpose and meaning through the darkness, and seeking out 'micro joys’ whether real or just imagined.

The original version of the track was so textured and dense, there was almost another song hiding beneath. The idea here was to create a stripped down acoustic version. Electric guitars and synths still feature prominently though so I didn't think calling it "acoustic" was entirely fitting. So I searched for another name, and this version feels more like an 'epiphany'.
